NewsBilly Ocean to play HackneyThe biggest selling British Black artist of all time, Billy Ocean, has announced a London show for December. He has sold in excess of 30 million singles and albums worldwide with particular success both sides of the Atlantic featuring a run of classic hits, including including "When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going", and top 10 albums through the eighties. He now plays: BILLY OCEAN plus support Sunday 16th December 2007 OCEAN (270 Mare Street Hackney) LONDON Tickets: ?22.50 in advance Showtime: 7.30pm Jesse Harris unveils new album details New York singer-songwriter Jesse Harris has unveiled details of his seventh solo album 'Feel', set for release in July. Harris, who wrote the Grammy-winning song 'Don't Know Why' for Norah Jones and has collaborated with Bright Eyes, recorded the album in just three days on the Lower East Side. Featuring the tracks such as 'Feel', 'You And Me' and 'How Could It Take So Long', the album will come out just one month before the soundtrack to the new Ethan Hawke movie 'The Hottest State' on which acts such as Cat Power, Feist, Willie Nelson and Emmylou Harris perform tracks penned by Harris.
